My mum keeps giving me khajoor saying its good for energy but I read somewhere dates create heat in early months. Im just 8 weeks so dont want to take chances. Is it okay this early?
Dates? Honey, in early pregnancy, I was just trying to keep *anything* down without puking! If dates sound good to you and don't make you nauseous, I'd say go for it in moderation. But seriously, ask your doc; I barely remember my own name these days, let alone what's good in early pregnancy.
I've heard mixed things, actually. Some people say they are fine and good for you, others advise caution, especially in the first trimester. I think it's always safest to check with the doctor who is looking after your pregnancy.
Dates are a good source of natural sugar and energy, which can be helpful. However, during early pregnancy, it's always best to be cautious with anything new or specific. I only add anything to my diet after confirming with my doctor, just like with my walks or yoga.
Haan beta, dates are healthy, our elders always used to say that. They give shakti (strength). Just don't eat too many, thoda thoda. If you have any doubt, then ask your doctor, they will know best for your body.
Dates are really good for energy and have fiber, so in general, they're considered healthy. Many women are advised to eat them in later stages of pregnancy to help with labor. For early pregnancy, if you're worried, just have them in moderation or ask your doctor, just to be safe.
Oh, that's a good question! I've heard they're really good for you, especially later on for a smoother delivery. But for early pregnancy, I'd probably ask my future gynac first. Better safe than sorry, right? I'm trying to learn all these things too!
