Can i eat dates during first trimester of pregnancy?
My mom keeps giving me khajoor saying its good for strength, but my friend said avoid it in early months as it can cause heat. Im just 8 weeks. Now im confused, can i have it or not?
In our homes, dates are often given for strength, you know. During pregnancy, a small amount should be fine, like one or two to get the benefits. But for proper guidance, it is always best to ask your gynac. They will tell you exactly how much is good for your specific situation.
Okay, so dates are actually quite beneficial, they have fiber and good nutrients. You can definitely have them in your first trimester, but like with everything, moderation is key. Maybe stick to one or two a day. If you have any sugar concerns, then definitely ask your doc, otherwise, it's a good snack.
Dates are so good and healthy! I ate them in my first trimester too, but only like 1-2 a day. My doc said they're fine in moderation, just don't go overboard. They give nice energy too! ✨
Many women do eat dates during pregnancy, and they're often recommended closer to delivery to help with labor. In the first trimester, you can have them but maybe in smaller quantities. It's always a good idea to chat with your gynac about your diet, especially early on, to be safe.
I totally remember being so careful about every single thing I ate in my first trimester, it's such a worrying time! Dates are really nutritious, and generally considered safe. Just make sure you wash them properly and don't eat too many, maybe 1-2 a day max. You're doing great by thinking about what's best.
I used to panic about every little thing I ate in my first trimester, so I totally understand your concern! Dates are generally considered safe and even good for you. My doc told me a couple of dates a day is totally fine. Just don't go overboard, and you'll be okay. Try to relax a bit, it's normal to worry!
Oh, I just delivered a few months back! My gynac actually recommended dates for me from the second trimester onwards, mainly for the iron and energy. In the first trimester, I ate them occasionally, like one date if I felt weak. Just ask your doc if they have any specific recommendations for you, since every pregnancy is different.
