Can i eat dry fig during1st trimster of pregnancy?
My MIL soaked some anjeer and gave me in the morning, said its good for the baby. But im only in my first trimester and a bit careful about everything right now. Is dry fig fine this early? anyone had it in starting months?
Figs are healthy but they are quite sweet, so just keep the count small especially if sugar is a concern for u. Otherwise great for iron. I stuck to one or two soaked ones.
Anjeer is very good beta, we always soaked it overnight and ate in the morning. It gives strength and helps the stomach. Two pieces a day is enough, no need to eat a lot.
I was also confused about dry fruits in the beginning. My gynac said anjeer in small amount is totally fine. Did anyone else feel unsure about how much is too much? I just kept it to two a day to be safe.
Dry figs are good, full of fibre and iron. I had 1-2 a day soaked in water, helped with constipation. Just dont overdo it, too many and they can cause loose motions.
