Everyone keeps giving me almonds, dates, anjeer and walnuts, but I get confused how much is okay. I dont want to overeat just because it is healthy. What dry fruits did you take?
At home everyone says nuts are good for baby's growth and I did have them daily, soaked. My mother used to make a small ladoo with them too. Just keep the amount sensible, and dates especially in moderation.
Yes, dry fruits are great, I had a small fistful daily. Soaked almonds and a couple of dates and walnuts. Dont go overboard though, they are calorie dense, a handful is plenty.
Dry fruits are healthy but watch the sweet ones like dates and raisins if you have sugar issues, which I did. I stuck to a few almonds and walnuts and limited dates. If your sugar is fine, normal handful is okay, but worth mentioning to your gynac.
Beta dry fruits are considered very good in our homes during pregnancy, almonds, walnuts, dates in moderation. I soaked almonds overnight for my bahu. Just dont eat too many at once as they are heavy, a small handful is enough.
