I am around 5 weeks and suddenly craving boiled egg, but my MIL said avoid it in starting months. I used to eat egg normally before pregnancy. What did your gynac say about this?
Haan totally, eggs are great for protein. Just make sure they are fully cooked, no half boiled or runny yolk. I ate boiled eggs throughout both pregnancies.
Eggs are one of the best protein sources in early pregnancy honestly. I had two boiled eggs daily after my doc okayed it. Just keep them fully cooked and you are good.
Eggs are fine and actually good for you. Only thing, cook them well, properly boiled or omelette, avoid raw or undercooked. My dietician always said well cooked egg is a safe protein.
At home some elders say avoid in first month due to heat and all, but my doctor said cooked egg is perfectly fine. I had one most mornings, it kept me full. Just no raw ones na.
