Im in my 2nd trimester and craving green grapes like crazy. But my saas keeps saying grapes garam hote hai and not good in pregnancy. Is it actually true ya just a myth? wanna know how much is ok.
Actually with my PCOS, my sugar spikes were a big worry so I was very careful with sweet fruits. Green grapes are fine but they have high sugar content, so just eat a small handful at a time. Better to keep check on your portions, na.
Arre grapes can actually be eaten, but don't eat like a whole kilo at once like I did! Honestly, the acidity was so bad I couldn't sleep at all (not that my baby lets me sleep now anyway). Eat in limit, you'll be fine.
My husband always tells his patients that green grapes are perfectly healthy but in moderation. They contain resveratrol in the skin which some doctors suggest keeping low, so don't overdo it. Just keep the portion small and you are good to go.
I was searching the same thing recently because I absolutely love green grapes! Some people say avoid them because of heat, but others say they are totally fine. Let me know what your doctor said about this!
I totally get why you are asking this, I used to google literally every single fruit before taking even one bite! Yes, green grapes are safe to eat, just don't stress so much. Wash them properly and enjoy your cravings.
Beta, our elders say not to eat too much sour things in early pregnancy, and black grapes are safer. But you can have a few green grapes, just wash them very nicely with salt water first to remove chemicals. Eat little bit and see if it suits your stomach.
