After meals i always feel like having something khatta and hajmola is my go to. Now im pregnant and not sure if its okay to keep eating it. The craving is strong though haha. anyone else?
Yaar I had cravings for tangy stuff too. One hajmola occasionally is not a big deal, just dont eat the whole bottle. If your tummy is sensitive go easy on it.
For digestion my mom always gave me a little jeera or ajwain water instead, very soothing. I avoided too many packaged digestives. But once in a while is okay, just dont depend on it.
I would check with the gynac before having these regularly, they have a lot of salt and spices. For digestion my doctor suggested simple options like ajwain water. Better safe na, especially in early months.
Honestly an occasional hajmola wont harm but it is high in salt and has additives, so dont make it a habit. For acidity I used home stuff instead. If you really crave it, just one once in a while and ask your doctor to be sure.
