Can i eat homemade food next day during pregnancy?
Cooking daily is getting hard with the tiredness so i sometimes keep ghar ka khana for next day in fridge. Is leftover food okay during pregnancy or should i avoid? Bas thoda confused.
During my first trimester, I was always too tired to cook every day, so I felt a bit guilty about eating yesterday's dal. But my doctor reassured me that as long as it's kept in the fridge and heated really well, it is totally fine. It felt like such a relief to not stress over cooking daily.
I think it should be perfectly fine as long as the food is hygienic and refrigerated properly. Since we are trying to conceive, I try to eat mostly fresh food, but sometimes eating yesterday's home-cooked food is unavoidable and quite safe. Just make sure it is heated well.
Having PCOS made me over-cautious about everything I ate during my pregnancy. Eating next-day homemade food is generally safe if you store it immediately in a clean container in the fridge. Just ensure it is heated till it's piping hot before you eat, and avoid eating anything that smells even slightly off.
Yes, it is absolutely fine to eat leftover homemade food the next day. Just make sure to store it properly in the refrigerator and heat it nicely before eating. Take care of your health and rest well.
With twins, who has the energy to cook fresh meals three times a day? I survived on leftover food that I stored in the fridge and reheated thoroughly. Honestly, as long as it's not sitting outside in the heat, your stomach will be perfectly fine, haha!
I had gestational diabetes, so I had to be extremely careful with my carbohydrate and food hygiene. Leftover homemade food is safe if refrigerated quickly, but make sure you are not eating starchy items that have been sitting for too long, as fresh is always better for blood sugar control. Keep it balanced and clean.
I am currently planning my pregnancy and was wondering about this too! It's so good to know we don't have to cook fresh meals every single time. Reheating safely seems to be the key to making life easier during those busy days.
