Got really into hummus lately, having it with everything. Now im 14 weeks and just wondering if the store bought one is okay or i should be careful. anyone else having it regularly?
Its safe, but those tubs are pricey yaar. I just made it at home with boiled chana and some lemon, way cheaper and I knew it was fresh. Tasted almost the same honestly.
Totally ok and actually a good protein snack when you're busy. I kept a tub for quick dips with veggies between meetings. Just make sure its fresh and properly refrigerated, dont eat one thats been open too long.
Yes hummus is fine, its just chickpeas, tahini and lemon. The only catch is if its store bought and been sitting out, freshness matters. Homemade or freshly packed is best, I ate it loads.
