I love eating kishmish (raisins) and was wondering if it's okay to continue eating them now that I'm pregnant. Can I safely eat kishmish during pregnancy? Any advice on this would be helpful.
Yes absolutely, you can totally eat raisins. They are great for quick energy and help with that awful constipation. Just wash them well first and keep the portion in check.
For minor digestion issues, soaked kishmish first thing in the morning is a great home remedy. But if u ever have severe stomach pain or cramping, please don't rely on home remedies and call your doctor immediately.
Meri saas toh pregnancy start hote hi kishmish paani peene ko bolne lagi thi. She says it helps with digestion and keeps acidity away. Honestly it did wonders for me.
Honestly I have been munching on soaked kishmish every morning lately, my gynac said it's great for iron. Are u also soaking them overnight or just eating them dry?
I was actually super scared to eat dry fruits in my first trimester thinking they are hot for the body. Now in my 2nd tri I eat a few soaked ones, but did you guys also feel a bit paranoid about everything u ate initially?
Please be very gentle with your body right now. I always ask my doctor before adding anything new because of my past experience. Kishmish is generally very safe in moderation, but maybe check with your gynac once if u feel anxious.
