I love the taste of oregano in my food, especially on pizza. But now I'm pregnant and cautious about everything I eat. Can I safely eat oregano in pregnancy, or should I avoid it?
Yaar, currently in 3rd trimester and my body is so tired I can barely move, but cravings don't stop. I eat oregano on my garlic bread all the time, hasn't caused any issues so far. Bas hyper acidity na ho jaye, that's my main struggle now!
Cravings are crazy! I had so much pizza with extra oregano throughout my second trimester, baby is fine. Just don't go too overboard, sprinkle a little bit is totally fine na.
Normal dried oregano on pizza is usually fine in small amounts, but don't eat too much or take oregano supplements or oil. For any weird stomach pain or cramps, directly call your doc instead of home remedies.
Sending you so much love, dear! After my IVF journey, I became so paranoid about every single ingredient, so I completely understand. A tiny pinch on food should be fine, but if you feel anxious, just skip it for peace of mind.
I had some complications early on so I was super scared about everything, even herbs. Honestly, just ask your gynac once before adding anything new to your diet, safe side rehna best hai.
