Yaar the cravings are real, its raining here and i just want hot pakoras with chai. But everyone at home keeps saying too much oily food is not good for baby. Thoda confused, is occasionally fine?
I used to panic thinking even one fried pakora would harm the baby or cause gas, but later realized it's totally fine in moderation. Just drink some warm water after eating to help digestion.
I felt so guilty craving heavy fried pakoras in my first trimester, but my mother made light palak ones at home. It actually felt so comforting and didn't cause any acidity. Just don't eat roadside ones.
Pregnancy cravings are so real, please don't feel bad about wanting pakoras. I used to gorge on homemade hot pyaaz pakoras when it rained. Just keep the portion small so u dont get heartburn.
U can definitely enjoy a few pakoras but don't overdo the oily stuff. I kept up with my daily yoga and walks only because my gynac allowed it, so staying active helped handle cravings. Maybe try air-fried ones to be safe!
