I get sudden cravings for pottukadalai these days, could just sit and eat handfuls. Second trimester. Is it fine to have or should i go easy on it? anyone?
Beta this is good old healthy food, our elders always gave it. Eat a handful, it gives strength. Only thing, if it makes u bloated then take less. Nothing to worry about with simple home snacks.
I had it during pregnancy n it was actually a good snack for me coz the protein kept sugar steadier than biscuits. But i had diabetes so i was careful with portions. For u its fine, just keep it balanced.
Totally fine, its a healthy little snack with protein. I used to munch it when i got hungry between meals. Just dont overdo since it can feel heavy/gassy for some. Otherwise no problem at all.
Oh i loved pottukadalai mixed with little jaggery as my evening fix haha. Its safe n way better than junk cravings. Enjoy it, just dont finish the whole packet in one sitting like i almost did.
Yes ma, pottukadalai is just roasted gram, its good protein n we eat it normally at home. I had it as a snack often. Just in moderation. If u have any sugar or gas issue, check once with ur doctor.
