Im around 7 weeks and craving mooli paratha so badly yaar. But my saas said avoid radish in early months, idk why. Is it actually unsafe or just one of those old beliefs? Pls share.
I have heard from elders that washing veggies really well is important. Radish is good but maybe eating it cooked is safer than raw, just to be on the safer side. Best of luck to you!
Radish is fine but it can cause gas and acidity sometimes, especially in early pregnancy. Simply cook it as sabji or parantha rather than raw mooli. Quick and safe way to handle the craving without stomach upset.
Honestly, I ate mooli paranthas a lot in my first trimester! Just make sure to wash and peel it thoroughly because raw veggies can have bacteria. Better to cook it properly instead of eating raw salads.
Oh I had huge cravings for mooli parantha with butter! Eat it but don't go overboard, sometimes it makes you super bloated. Cooked radish is totally fine and yummy.
Haan bilkul kha sakte ho, hamare yahan toh mooli ki sabji aur paranthe bohot khilate hain. Bas acche se dho lena mitti bilkul na rahe. Shuru ke dino mein pet saaf rakhta hai mooli.
