Craving sambar dosa so badly in my first trimester, like i could eat it every day. But MIL keeps saying avoid this avoid that so now im confused. Is it fine to have? anyone else?
Bilkul, its a normal home food yaar. Just make sure its fresh and hot, not from some random street stall hygiene wise. Otherwise no issue at all eating dosa sambar.
Its fine generally but since dosa is made of rice batter, i kept my portion smaller and added more sambar and veggies. I had sugar issues so i watched it, but for most people its totally okay. Ask your doc if you have gd.
Of course ma, sambar dosa is totally fine and actually quite healthy. Dal in sambar is good protein. My amma fed me dosa all through and doc had no problem. Just keep it not too oily or spicy if you have acidity.
Yes please eat, i practically survived on dosa sambar in my first trimester haha! It was the only thing that didnt make me nauseous. Go easy on the coconut chutney if it gives you acidity, otherwise enjoy.
