We make shepu (dill) sabji a lot at home and i ate it yesterday before remembering to check. Im in first trimester so being extra careful with everything. Is it safe to keep eating?
Haan yaar shepu is a normal green sabji, actually it is quite healthy. I ate it cooked well at home a few times. Just wash the leaves properly, that's the only thing.
Generally cooked leafy vegetables like shepu are fine and good for iron and fibre. I included it sometimes. If you have any specific condition though, a quick check with your gynac is always the safest.
My MIL makes shepu bhaji at home and she said it is good in moderation. I had it without any problem. In a joint family these everyday greens are usually considered fine, just well cooked.
Shepuchi bhaji is quite common at home na. I had it in normal quantity and it was fine, ho na. Just keep it in moderation like any sabji and clean the leaves nicely.
We have similar greens at home and elders always say cook them well and eat in moderation. I trust that, and my doctor also said leafy veg is good. So enjoy it, just nicely cooked.
