We ordered chinese last night and I had noodles with lots of soy sauce, only after eating I started wondering if its even ok. Im 14 weeks now and trying to be careful with everything. Anyone know if its fine in normal amount?
In small amounts its considered fine, the worry is just the high sodium content. If you have any swelling or BP issue do mention it to ur gynac, otherwise enjoy ur food.
My mother always said avoid too much salty outside food during pregnancy, but a bit of soy sauce in home cooking is fine. Moderation is the key, nothing to stress about.
One thing to watch, soy sauce is super high in salt and sometimes sugar in the sweet ones. I had to cut down because of my BP and sugar levels, so if everything is normal for u then a little is ok.
Thoda thoda is fine yaar. Soy sauce ka issue is mostly the salt, it has loads of sodium. So if u r eating chinese once in a while no problem, just dont go overboard with it daily.
