Soya chunks is my go to protein since im veg, eat it almost every other day. But read somewhere too much soya is not good in pregnancy. Now confused, anyone knows the truth?
Yes in moderation soya chunks are fine, good protein actually. Just don't overdo it daily, keep variety in ur protein. I had them maybe twice a week, no issue.
I made soya chunks curry sometimes, tasty and filling. Cook it properly and soak well. In moderation it's fine, if u want exact diet portions ur gynac or dietician can guide better.
I added soya chunks for protein since i was watching my diet during pregnancy. In normal quantity it's good. Don't eat huge amounts everyday though, balance it with dal, eggs, paneer etc.
I keep soya moderate because of my PCOS, some say too much soy isn't ideal. A normal serving here and there is okay i think, but maybe just run it past ur doctor for ur case to be safe.
