I usually have white bread toast for breakfast and now im 2nd trimester. MIL keeps saying brown bread is better for baby. Is white bread actually fine to eat or should i switch?
I had to be careful with white bread because of my sugar levels, it spikes fast. My gynac asked me to prefer whole wheat and pair it with protein. If you dont have any sugar issues, a little is ok but ask your doctor to be safe.
I craved bread butter so badly in my early weeks haha. I just kept the portion small and added an egg or veggies to it. Cravings happen, just dont go fully overboard.
Yes you can, just dont make it your whole meal. White bread has less fibre so I switched mostly to brown or multigrain. Occasional toast is totally fine, dont overthink it.
