Craving mooli paratha so badly these days but my mom said avoid raw stuff in pregnancy. now im confused. anyone ate mooli during their pregnancy without issue?
Beta, ghar pe toh mummy aur saasu maa kehti hain ki sabziyan achi hoti hain, par hamesha dhyan se khani chahiye. Mooli is good for digestion na. Just ensure it's very fresh, washed nicely, and maybe have it cooked like in a sabzi or dal. Thoda thoda khao, it will be fine.
Mooli is perfectly fine to eat in pregnancy, don't worry unnecessarily. Just wash it thoroughly like any other vegetable and don't overdo it. You can have it in salads or cooked. Your gynac won't even bat an eye for mooli, unless you have some specific allergy.
Mooli? Yaar, at this point in my 3rd trimester, I'd eat anything that's not poha again! Honestly, I ate mooli parathas sometimes, but not too much and always cooked. Maybe ask your doc if you're really worried, but a little bit shouldn't be an issue. Everything in moderation, right?
It's so normal to be extra careful with everything after an IVF journey, I completely understand your concern. For mooli, it's generally considered safe if eaten in moderation and properly washed, but maybe just a quick check with your gynac would give you full peace of mind, na? Better safe than sorry.
Totally understand why you'd ask this, pregnancy makes you question every single thing you put in your mouth, no? I used to feel super anxious too. Mooli is usually fine, but if you're feeling unsure, just a quick call to your doctor can clear it up and ease your mind. It's okay to double-check!
Oh, mooli... during my morning sickness days, just the smell would make me gag, haha! But later, I did eat it sometimes. Just make sure it's super fresh and properly cleaned, and maybe don't go overboard. If you're sensitive, maybe avoid it raw? Cooked is generally safer for everything.
