I used to do light workouts and walking before, now im 7 weeks and scared to even move too much. dont want to do anything that risks it. is it ok to continue some exercise this early?
Please ask your own gynac first before starting anything. I had a slightly risky early pregnancy and was told to take it very easy, so it really depends on your case. For some women exercise is great, for others not in the first trimester.
I just did a 20 min walk after dinner and some stretching, that was realistic with my work schedule. Nothing fancy needed in early pregnancy. Skip the intense gym stuff and clear it with your doctor, then keep it simple and consistent.
Yes but gently and only after your doctor gives a green signal. I kept doing walks and light prenatal yoga in my first trimester after my gynac said its fine. No heavy lifting, no crazy workouts. Listen to your body and stop if u feel dizzy or crampy.
Walking is the safest and i did it in both pregnancies from early on. Just avoid jumping, heavy weights and ab crunches. If u had any spotting or your doc said bed rest, then dont. Otherwise light movement is good for u.
