Can i feel the heartbeat of the baby during pregnancy?
I keep putting my hand on my pet hoping to feel something. Im around 20 weeks. Can u actually feel the baccha's heartbeat with your hand or only on scan? Bohot curious hu honestly.
In my personal experience, I never felt the heartbeat directly, only my own strong pulse in my stomach which is very common. The doctor was always the one who showed me the heartbeat on the ultrasound screen during our monthly visits.
Haha, honestly you can't feel the baby's actual heartbeat through your tummy with your hands. What you're probably feeling is your own increased pulse rate in the main blood vessels! If you want to hear those fast little beats, wait for your clinic ultrasound.
Looking back at my pregnancy days, I remember trying so hard to feel the heartbeat! But actually, we can only feel baby kicks and hiccups later on, not the heartbeat itself. Enjoy these quiet moments, because once they become toddlers, you won't get a second of peace!
I totally understand why you'd want to feel the heartbeat, it brings so much peace of mind when we are constantly worrying. But honestly, you can't feel it from the outside. Your anxiety is completely normal, but try to wait for your scan to hear that reassuring sound.
I used to press my stomach for hours trying to feel the heartbeat because I was constantly worried if my baby was okay. Please don't panic if you can't feel anything, because we really can't feel it directly. If you ever feel anxious about baby's health, just visit your doctor for reassurance.
With my PCOS history, I was always extra cautious and wanted constant reassurance of the baby's heartbeat. But we can't feel the heartbeat ourselves, only kicks in the 2nd trimester. Just trust your regular prenatal scans and take it easy.
You cannot physically feel the fetal heartbeat with your hand, as it's too deep inside the amniotic sac. That pulsing sensation in your belly is just your own abdominal aorta pumping extra blood. You'll need a Doppler or scan at the clinic to actually hear the baby's heart.
Oh yaara, don't stress too much trying to find the heartbeat on your own! It is physically impossible to feel it with your bare hands. Just wait for your doctor visits to hear that sweet horse-gallop sound on the machine!
