Can i get periods in the first month of pregnancy?
I got a positive test but now bleeding has started around the same date my period was due. It is not very heavy yet but I am really worried and will call my gynac. Has anyone had bleeding in first month?
Technically no, a true period needs the lining to shed which doesnt happen in pregnancy. Spotting can look similar though. Honestly the safest thing is to test and then ask ur doctor, they can tell the difference better than google.
Bleeding in early pregnancy can be totally harmless OR something that needs checking. I dont want to scare u but pls dont guess on ur own. Better to just call doc and let them see, specially if its heavy or with cramps.
Same doubt I had! I got light brown spotting in week 4 and panicked. My doc said early spotting is common na but a full proper period is not normal once pregnant.
I had little spotting around the time my period was due and I felt so confused, thought maybe I was not pregnant. Turned out it was implantation. It was very light, like just few drops, nothing like my normal flow.
Once you are actually pregnant, periods stop. What women see early on is usually light spotting, not a real period. If you got a positive test and now you are bleeding, dont assume its periods, call your gynac and confirm.
