We are trying and i just cant wait, its only been around 3 weeks since my last period. Im tempted to test but scared it shows negative even if i am pregnant. Is it too soon to get a clear positive?
Mine was negative at 3 weeks and I was so confused, then positive after I missed my period. So dont lose hope on an early negative. Retest in a few days.
At 3 weeks the hormone may still be too low for many home kits, so you might get a faint line or negative. It is more reliable after your missed period, around 4 weeks. A blood beta hCG can catch it a little earlier than urine.
I tested at around 3 weeks and got a very faint line, then a clear one a few days later. Early testing is hit or miss honestly. If you really want to know sooner, the blood test is more sensitive.
