Can i get positive result in 5th week of pregnancy?

Question

My period is late by around 2 weeks so it should be 5th week i think. Havent tested yet because im scared of seeing one line. Will the test show clearly now or should I wait few more days? pls share.

Haan by 5 weeks it should show clearly. Use morning urine.

Mine showed a clear dark line at exactly 5 weeks. Earlier it was faint but by then no doubt at all. So yes you should get a proper positive.

Yes absolutely, by 5 weeks the hCG is usually high enough for a clear positive on a home test. Use morning urine for the strongest line. By then most tests show clearly.

My doc explained that by week 5 hCG levels are well into the detectable range, so a positive is expected. If you still get a negative with a missed period, a blood test clears it up. Mine matched the home test exactly.
