Mom made kathal sabzi today and im 5 months pregnant, ate a little but then my MIL said avoid it na. Now im confused, is it actually unsafe ya just a myth? anyone had jackfruit during pregnancy?
I know how we overthink every little thing to keep the baby safe, especially if you've had a difficult journey before. Personally, I completely avoided jackfruit because I didn't want to take any mental stress. If your heart says no, then skip it and talk to your doc.
I totally understand how tough it is to control those sweet cravings, dear. Actually jackfruit is fine to eat but please eat in very small quantities. Just listen to your body and enjoy a tiny piece, happy pregnancy!
It's so normal to worry about every single food item, I had so much anxiety myself. Honestly, ripe jackfruit is safe if you don't overdo it. Just try a small piece first to see if it suits your digestion.
Arre, simple solutions are the best, don't stress. Just have 1-2 pieces of ripe jackfruit if you crave it, but raw jackfruit sabji skip karna as it causes heavy gas. No need to buy expensive imported fruits, local is best.
Ghar pe everybody told me jackfruit is 'hot' and will cause problems, but my doctor said it's totally a myth. I had it occasionally in my second trimester and it was absolutely fine. Just eat in moderation and trust your gynac over old myths.
