My gynecologist strictly warned against street food due to the risk of infections from contaminated water and oil. It's much safer to prepare mirchi bajji at home using fresh ingredients.
I felt such a strong craving for spicy mirchi bajji in my first trimester! I cried when my husband said no. But outside food is risky because of stomach infections, so we made them at home.
Please avoid outside food, especially fried stuff. I got a severe stomach infection which led to dehydration and a hospital visit. Consult your doctor if you have extreme cravings.
If you are working, making it at home is tough. But buying from random street vendors is a big risk. Try getting it from a highly hygienic restaurant if you absolutely must.
Eating pure and clean food keeps our mind and baby healthy. Try to avoid outside deep-fried items as much as possible. God bless you with a healthy pregnancy.

Oh my god, mirchi bajji is absolute heaven! I also had crazy cravings, but I made my husband fry some fresh ones at home. Outside oil can cause terrible heartburn, so home-made is safest!
When I had this craving, my mom immediately made hot bajji at home using clean oil. Eating outside food during these months is not recommended by elders, so stay safe.
