These headaches in my first tri are killing me and sometimes i feel like just taking something for relief. But im scared it might harm the baby. I will check with my doc also but wanted to know what u all do when the pain is too much.
My doctor allowed one specific painkiller occasionally for headaches, but only that one and only when really needed. The common ones you take normally are not all safe in pregnancy. Just confirm with yours which is okay.
I was very careful with any medicine after my complications. Please dont assume occasional is harmless, even one wrong tablet matters in pregnancy. Always ask your doctor before taking anything.
Even occasional painkillers, please check with your gynac first, because some are a strict no in pregnancy. My doctor told me exactly which one I could take and when. Dont just pick a tablet from your usual stock.
