My throat is killing me and I usually pop a vicks tablet when it starts. But im 9 weeks pregnant now and scared to take anything without checking. Did anyone use these during pregnancy or is it better to ask the doc first?
Honestly dont pop any tablet on your own during pregnancy yaar, even cough ones. Ask your gynac first. For mild throat issues I stuck to warm water, honey and gargling and that handled it.
For throat I used warm turmeric milk and gargling, family remedies that are gentle. But for any tablet I always called my doctor to be safe. Better to confirm than guess na.
I personally didnt take any throat tablets without asking my gynac first. For a scratchy throat I just did warm salt water gargle and honey. Please check with your doctor before taking anything, even small lozenges.
