Its evening and i really feel like having a hot bowl of knorr soup, but worried about all the packet masala and preservatives in it. Im 14 weeks. Is the readymade one ok ya should i just make soup at home?
I totally get those sudden cravings, and then immediately worrying if you ate something wrong! Honestly, having instant soup once or twice won't harm the baby, so please don't stress out. Just try to limit packaged foods as they have high sodium levels.
God has blessed you with this beautiful phase, so try to nourish your body with positive thoughts and fresh, home-cooked food. Instant soups like Knorr have a lot of preservatives and MSG, so having them once in a while is okay, but try to avoid making it a habit. Take care of yourself!
During my first trimester, I felt so nauseous that I couldn't stand the smell of home-cooked food, and Knorr hot and sour soup was the only thing I could digest. I felt so guilty back then, but my baby turned out perfectly healthy. Just enjoy it occasionally, don't worry too much!
It is okay to have it occasionally when you really feel like it, dear. But try to have fresh, home-made vegetable soup more often as it is much healthier for the baby. Stay strong and take care.
When I was pregnant with twins, my cravings were wild and I definitely had Knorr soup a few times when I was too lazy to cook! Just add lots of fresh chopped veggies to it so you feel less guilty about the preservatives. It's totally fine in moderation, just don't live on it!
Packaged soups like Knorr contain high amounts of sodium, preservatives, and sometimes MSG, which might not be great during pregnancy. If you are having it often, please ask your gynecologist if it's safe for your specific health condition. It's always better to be cautious.
