Im in my second trimester and everything has been normal so far, but both me and my husband are a little scared to be close. Dont want to harm the baby in any way. Is it actually fine or should we wait?
Mine was a slightly complicated pregnancy so my doctor asked us to avoid it for some weeks. So please dont assume, it really depends on your situation. A quick word with your gynac will tell you clearly.
In a normal healthy pregnancy it's usually fine, both my pregnancies were okay with it. If you have any bleeding, pain or a high risk condition, your gynac may advise against it. So just confirm with her based on your case.
I felt too shy to even type this earlier, so glad someone asked. Good to know it's generally okay in a normal pregnancy. I'll still check with my doctor to be sure.
