Can i know ovulation kit used as pregnancy test?

I had some ovulation strips left over and now im a week late for my period. Cant rush to the shop today so just wondering if these can tell me anything about pregnancy. Has anyone tried this?

This question comes up a lot here. Ovulation kits tell you fertile days, pregnancy kits confirm pregnancy. Dont mix them, get the right strip to be sure.

They are not interchangeable, the ovulation kit detects LH and the pregnancy kit detects hcg. My doctor warned me that an ovulation kit can sometimes show a line in pregnancy by coincidence, but its not reliable. Always use an actual pregnancy test to confirm.
