im having some light brown discharge since yesterday, nothing heavy. apart from worrying about it im also confused about namaz, whether im allowed to pray in this condition. wanted to ask others who have been through this.
The praying part depends on your religious guidance, I wouldnt advise on that. But brown discharge in pregnancy, while often old blood and harmless, should still be mentioned to your doctor especially if it increases. I had a little spotting both times and got it checked just to be sure.
That's something personal to your own beliefs, in many traditions light discharge isnt treated like a period so prayer is allowed, but it's best to ask someone you trust in your faith. I cant guide on the prayer rules, that's your faith. But anytime I had discharge in pregnancy I called my doctor, brown is often nothing but if it turns red or comes with cramps dont wait. Better to check than worry alone.
