My cousins wedding is coming up and everyone is getting mehndi done. Im 6 months along and just want to be sure its fine for me and baby. Did any of u apply during pregnancy?
I used the natural homemade henna and it was lovely and cooling actually. The thing to avoid is the readymade black cones with chemicals. If your skin ever reacts or itches a lot, then check with your doctor.
Haan natural mehndi toh chalega na, I did it on Karwa Chauth while pregnant. Bas black mehndi se door raho, woh chemicals wala. Pure henna is safe enough.
Natural henna on hands is generally fine, I applied it during festivals both pregnancies. Just avoid the black chemical mehndi as that can irritate skin. Stick to pure natural mehndi and you are okay.
