I have a desk job and end up sitting at the computer for hours together. First pregnancy so i keep second guessing everything. Is sitting that long stretch okay or should i be getting up often?
I sat at my desk for long hours too, but I made it a rule to get up every hour and walk a little. Sitting 3 hours straight isnt great for swelling and back. Keep your legs moving and a footrest under the desk helps.

Sitting itself is fine, just dont stay in one position for too long at a stretch. Take small breaks, stretch your legs, sip water. That keeps the circulation good and prevents stiffness.
