Im just 6 weeks and we usually sit on the floor at home for eating and pooja and all. My mom said be careful with bending and sitting down now. Is sitting on the floor and getting up fine at this stage or should i avoid it?
Floor sitting and gentle stretches are fine, my doctor even said cross legged sitting is good for the hips. Just dont strain to get up. I do my pregnancy yoga on the floor too, all doctor approved.
I was a little scared to sit on the floor thinking it might harm something. Did anyone else feel nervous about this? Reassuring to hear it is okay if I get up carefully.
Beta, we always sat on the floor for everything, it is no problem in the early months. Bas dont jerk up suddenly, take support of the wall or table. Later in pregnancy you can switch to a chair if it gets hard.
In our home floor sitting is normal for meals and pooja, I did it through early pregnancy comfortably. My mother said just be careful while standing up. If you ever feel any pain or discomfort, mention to your gynac.
Yaar dont overthink such small things, sitting on the floor is totally okay. Just stand up slow, hold something. You will tire yourself worrying about every little thing, relax.
Yes you can sit on the floor in early pregnancy, it is generally fine. Just get up slowly and use some support so you dont strain. Cross legged sitting is actually quite comfy for many.
