Can i sitting for 2 hours when first trimester pregnancy?
My job is full desk work so i end up sitting 2-3 hours at a stretch. Now in first trimester im worried if long sitting is bad for the baby. Anyone with a sitting job, how did you manage it?
Generally sitting is fine, but sitting continuously can make your legs swell. I had thyroid issues so I had to be very strict with my doctor's instructions about movement and follow-ups. Just mention your daily routine to your doctor during your next visit to ensure everything is on track.
I'm currently in my first trimester too and my job requires a lot of sitting, so I totally relate! I usually get up every 45 minutes to stretch or get water. Do you also get mild back pain if you sit for too long, or is it just me?
God has made our bodies very strong, so don't worry, sitting for two hours will not cause any harm. Just keep a positive mind, do some gentle breathing, and take small walking breaks in between. Take care of your health.
When I asked my specialist at the hospital about long sitting hours, they clearly advised me to avoid sitting continuously for more than an hour without a break. It's always best to ask your own doctor or their support staff during your next visit to see what is safe for your specific pregnancy.
I totally understand how much you must be worrying about every little thing during these precious first few months. Yes, you can sit for 2 hours, but please don't strain yourself too much, sweetie. Take a small break, stretch your legs, and keep yourself comfy for your little miracle.
Haan, you can sit, nothing will happen to the baby. Just use a small cushion for your lower back and keep a footstool to rest your feet. It's a simple, cheap way to stay comfortable while working or sitting for long.
It is absolutely fine to sit for 2 hours, but make sure you have a comfortable chair with good back support. Try to stand up and walk around for 5 minutes every hour to keep the blood circulation good. Take care of your back and stay hydrated, okay?
