My job is desk work and I sit for long hrs, sometimes 2 hours straight without getting up. Im 5 months now and feeling my legs get heavy. Is sitting this long ok or should I take breaks more often?
I sit long hours at my desk job, so I just make sure to get up every 30-45 mins and walk a bit. Sitting two hours straight isnt great for circulation or swelling. Set a small reminder to stretch, it really helps.
Sitting that long at a stretch isnt ideal, your legs can swell and back can ache. Get up, walk, stretch every now and then. Keep your feet slightly up when you do sit.
Actually I used to sit long during commute and work too yaar. I just kept shifting and walking whenever I could, helped with the stiffness. Two hours non stop, thoda break le lena.
