Some days i just dont feel hungry at all around lunch time, the nausea is still there in my 9th week. Feeling guilty if i skip but force eating bhi feels too much. Is this ok or not?
Don't panic if you skipped it once due to some nausea, I used to worry so much about this too. But please don't make it a habit because baby needs constant nutrition. If you can't eat a full lunch, just have a small bowl of curd or some fruits.
Skipping meals is really not a good idea, especially if you have thyroid or sugar issues. I had thyroid during pregnancy and my doctor strictly told me to eat on time to keep my levels stable. Please discuss your daily diet with your doctor during your regular follow-ups.
Please try not to skip your meals, even if you don't feel like eating. I realized that keeping a long gap between meals actually makes pregnancy acidity and nausea much worse. Just have some light khichdi or buttermilk if a full lunch feels too heavy.
During my first trimester, I felt so nauseous that I couldn't even stand the smell of food and skipped lunch often. I felt so guilty and cried thinking I am starving my baby. But my doctor said eating small bites of apple or toast is much better than skipping entirely.
Beta, skipping lunch is not good for your health or the baby. If you feel bloated or have gas, drink a glass of warm jeera water or have some buttermilk with black salt, but eat a little bit of soft food.
Nahi beta, khana bilkul mat chhodo. Hamare yahan toh kehte hain ki pet me bachha bhookha nahi rehna chahiye. Agar roti-sabzi nahi khani, toh thoda sa dahi-chawal ya dhoodh pee lo, par khali pet mat raho.
According to my pregnancy app trackers, skipping meals can cause your blood sugar to crash, making you feel weak and dizzy. It's much better to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day instead of three heavy ones. Try setting reminders on your phone!
