Im running a mild fever and bad body ache since morning, 16 weeks pregnant. I have the regular tablet at home but scared to just pop it without checking. planning to call my gynac but wanted to know if others were allowed it?
Paracetamol is generally the one doctors allow for fever or pain in pregnancy, but please confirm the dose with your own gynac. Dont keep taking it repeatedly on your own. A message to her usually gets a quick yes or no.
My doc allowed it for occasional fever both times, but only when really needed and she told me the dose. Dont just pop it for every small thing. Better to call and ask na.
I would not take any tablet without asking the doctor first, even paracetamol. In my pregnancy I had some issues so I always called my gynac before taking anything. One quick call is worth it.
