My saas keeps giving me some ayurvedic kadha and churan she says it's good for baby. Im 5 months and thoda confused if these herbal things are actually safe during pregnancy or not. Haven't asked my gynac yet, anyone else taking such stuff?
Honestly, ghar ke nuskhe like ginger tea for nausea are fine, but actual ayurvedic medicines can have strong herbs. Some can cause internal heat which is not good right now. Please check with your gynac before taking any herbal tablets.
Beta, pregnancy me bina doctor se pooche kuch bhi mat khao. Humare yahan kehte hain ki har jadi booti safe nahi hoti baby ke liye. Ek baar apne doctor ko dikha lo, wohi sahi batayenge.
Kitchen herbs like ajwain or jeera are okay in food, but proper ayurvedic medicines are very strong. Don't start them on your own during these nine months. Ask your gynac first, safety comes first.
Oh god, my MIL keeps suggesting all kinds of herbal churnas for my acidity. Honestly, I just ask my doctor before letting anything pass my throat. Pregnancy is already tiring enough, don't want to mess with untested herbs now!
I completely understand wanting to go natural to avoid chemicals, same here! But my doctor strictly told me that ayurvedic formulations aren't always regulated for pregnant women. Better to stick to what your doctor prescribes for safety.
