I love chana and chole, basically eat it almost daily. Now in my 2nd trimester someone told me to be careful with it. Is it actually fine to have chickpeas regularly or should I cut down? Just want to be sure.
Amma gave me soaked and boiled chana in the morning, said it builds strength. I ate it through my pregnancy happily. Healthy and filling, just have it fresh.
Chana is excellent in pregnancy, full of protein and fibre. I had chole, sprouted chana, all of it. Just cook it well and dont go overboard if it gives u gas.
