My doctor has given Duphaston after my positive test because I had spotting once. I trust her but still feel nervous taking tablets in early pregnancy. Anyone else was on it?
Please dont take it on your own. I was prescribed it by my doctor for a specific reason in early pregnancy, with proper dosage. Its not something to start yourself, talk to your gynac first.
This one really needs your doctor's word, its commonly given but only when there's a reason for it. Self medicating in early pregnancy is not worth the risk. Just call your clinic and ask, they wont mind.
In my IVF journey my doctor did put me on it for support, but that was decided by her after monitoring me. Every case is different sweetie. Only take it if your own doctor tells you to and how much.
I had it prescribed during my treatment phase but I'd never suggest starting any hormone tablet without your doctor. I cant tell you it's right for you. Ring up your gynac, they'll guide based on your history.
This is really a doctor-only decision. It gets prescribed in certain situations but the dose and need depend on your reports. Dont rely on what worked for someone else, please check with your gynac.
