Nausea is killing me in the mornings and someone told me ginger tea helps. But i was diagnosed with gestational diabetes recently so im a little careful about everything i put in my mouth now. Is ginger okay in my case?
Ginger was a lifesaver for my nausea, I used to sip ginger water in the mornings. Small amounts honestly helped me feel better. But I kept it light, not too much in one go.
Since you said gestational, I am guessing diabetes maybe, so just be careful that ginger tea has no sugar or honey in it. I had GD and watched everything closely. Better to run it by your doctor first to be safe.
A little ginger in tea or with hot water is generally fine for mild nausea. I did the same. Just confirm with your gynac how much, especially if you have any other condition.
