My saas keeps suggesting kanthika as we always took it at home for cold and throat. But now im 8 months and dont want to take anything without being sure. Has anyone taken it this late?
Hey, don't stress too much about medicines during pregnancy, just always run it by your doctor. Especially an Ayurvedic one, sometimes they have ingredients which are not safe for pregnant women. Better to be safe than sorry, yaar!
Having had thyroid issues during pregnancy, I learned to be super cautious about anything I consumed. Even seemingly harmless things can sometimes react. So for Kanthika, or any other medicine, please discuss it with your doctor first.
Beta, hamare ghar mein bhi bahut saare natural remedies hain, but when you are pregnant, especially in the 8th month, it's very important to be careful. Please, please ask your gynac about Kanthika before taking it. Don't take any risks.
OMG, 8th month! I'm just trying to survive on bland food and naps! Seriously though, I don't take anything without my doctor's green signal these days. My gynac knows best, you should ask yours too, please!
It's always advisable to consult your obstetrician before taking any medication, whether allopathic or ayurvedic, during pregnancy, especially in the advanced stages like the 8th month. They will know what's safe for you and the baby.
