I have a bad throat infection and the chemist gave me moxikind cv 625 but im 4 months pregnant and got worried after coming home. I havent taken it yet, planning to confirm with my doctor first. Has anyone been prescribed this while pregnant?
This is an antibiotic, and while some antibiotics are used in pregnancy, it must be a doctor's call, not a self choice. Dont take leftover strips or pick it up over the counter. Ring your gynac and let her decide.
Please dont take any antibiotic on your own in pregnancy, even one that seems common. The doctor needs to confirm it is right for your situation and the dose. When I needed an antibiotic, my gynac prescribed it specifically. Always go through her.
Antibiotics are one thing I never touched without my doctor saying so during pregnancy. She prescribed safe ones when I had an infection. Please dont self start moxikind, just call and ask her first.
