Have a bad headache since morning and thoda body pain bhi hai. Normally I just pop a pcm but now im scared during pregnancy. Asking my gynac tomorrow but wanted to know what others do.
I had severe PCOS before conceiving so I was super careful about everything I put in my body. Even for simple paracetamol, I never took it without checking with my doctor first. It is generally safe, but please just drop a quick message to your gynac to be absolutely sure.
We got our miracle baby after years of IVF, so we were incredibly cautious about every single pill. My doctor did say paracetamol is safe when needed, but we always got the exact brand and dose approved by our clinic first. Please do the same so you can sleep peacefully.
They actually gave me paracetamol in the hospital for post-C-section pain management, so it is quite safe. But during pregnancy, you must get the dose confirmed by your gynac first. Don't self-medicate, just a quick call to your doc will help.
Oh sweetie, I totally understand how frustrating it is when you're in pain and scared to take medicine. My doctor told me PCM is safe during pregnancy, but my heart would still beat so fast before taking it. Just speak to your doctor once so you can take it without any anxiety, okay?
My doctor allowed PCM when I had a bad headache in my second trimester, and it was perfectly fine. Now that I am breastfeeding, I still consult my doctor before any pill. Try some warm ginger tea first, and if the pain is too much, just call your gynac.
