Can i take pregnancy test 5 days before my period?
We are ttc and i saw some kits say they detect early. my period is due in 5 days but i really want to test now. will it be accurate so soon or should i just wait na?
I did exactly this and got a negative, then cried for two days, and later it was positive. The early test just gave me false stress. Please try to wait, I wish I had.
5 days before is too early honestly, the hcg may not be enough yet. Even if it shows negative you cant be sure. I would say wait till the missed date for a real answer.
Some early detection kits claim a few days before, but the accuracy is low so early. My app always suggested testing on or after the due date. If u cant wait, a lab blood test is more reliable.
