I had a couple of drinks at a party last night before realising my period is late. Now im anxious if testing in the morning will even give a correct result. Has this happened to anyone?
Alcohol does not change the hcg the test detects, so the result stays accurate. But drinking a lot of fluids can dilute your urine and weaken the line. My doc said use first morning urine for the clearest result.
Yes you can test, alcohol doesnt mess up the reading. Just dont flood yourself with water before, it dilutes things. Morning sample is always the best.
