Im veg so im always looking for protein options and tofu seems easy. But someone said soya is not good in pregnancy, made me unsure. Is it ok to have soya paneer few times a week? Pls let me know ur experience.
I had terrible morning sickness and couldn't digest heavy dairy, so soya paneer was actually a lifesaver for me! Cook it with light spices so it stays easy on the stomach.
I totally understand wanting to eat healthy for your precious little baby! Soya paneer is a wonderful source of protein, just make sure it is fresh and cooked properly.
Having PCOS, I had to keep my insulin levels in check during pregnancy, and soya paneer was helpful. Just don't overdo it, moderation is always key with soy products.
After my previous loss, I became extremely careful about food. I only ate well-cooked tofu/soya paneer after checking with my doctor, so please confirm with your gynac first just to be fully safe.
Soya paneer at home is great, just make sure to cook or steam it well before eating. But if you feel any stomach pain or indigestion after eating it, call your doctor immediately.
